About Therapy
Psychotherapy is a general term used for the treatment of a variety of psychological problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship problems, eating disorders, addictions, panic disorders, sexual problems and many more.
As a therapist, I use a combination of different approaches such as Psychoanalysis, CBT (Cognitive behavioural Therapy), Collaborative Counselling and Dialogical Therapy. Therapy is personalized based on the individual’s personality and needs. I help people re-establish hope, and rebuild a sense of trust and confidence. Through empathy and careful listening I work to create a safe therapeutic environment where one can begin to grow, face life’s challenges, and live a fulfilling life.
The duration of therapy depends on the communication and collaboration between the therapist and client as well as the compliance of the client towards therapy and the difficulty of the problem.
In my therapeutic sessions, I like to frequently evolve my techniques and develop new, useful and entertaining ways of approaching and dealing with different problems. In spite of the use of dialogue I also tend to use applied exercises which focus on self-reflection, self-improvement and self-development.
